Are you a Youth Worker? Do you want to receive Leadership Training in a unique experience in Sofia (Bulgaria)? Join this International Training under the Erasmus+ Programme and learn more about leadership skills, youth participation and civic engagement.

International Training Course: Youth Leadership

When? 8th-14th September 2022
Expenses covered by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
Deadline to apply: 20th August 2022

The participants will be trained on leadership skills, youth participation and civic engagement, and how to work with young people at risk of social exclusion.

They will be empowered to engage with local challenges related to youth participation and civic engagement by developing their leadership skills, knowledge and attitudes, and inspiring them to take action in their country.

Elegible Criteria

  • Aged 18+
  • Youth worker
  • Proven experience in youth mobilization.
  • With at least 2 years of experience in working with organizations on programs for young people empowerment.
  • Previous experience in working with and supporting disadvantaged young people.
  • Motivation to work for youth engagement in your country.
  • Personal commitment to youth work, non-formal learning methods, NGOs work and volunteering activities.
  • Priority will be given to youth workers that represent disadvantaged groups.
  • Nomination of youth workers will adhere to the leave no one behind principle ensuring diverse representation across intersectional complexities, including marital status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, indigenous and ethnic identities, and refugee or migrant status.

The International Training Course "Youth Leadership" is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Take Action, Create the Change!” (TACC) and it is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

7 days maximum = 5 days of training + 2 days of traveling

Travel reimbursement

Fllight tickets and transportation to the venue are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Total travel grant per participant: 320 €
