The summer school is organized with the support of LIFE Programme.
Through a blend of sessions, study visits, and reflective discussions, the project fosters a deep understanding of the importance and conservation of minor wetlands, encompassing everything related to these habitats while considering the broadest possible spectrum — including their ecosystem functions, ecological characteristics, the plant and animal communities that inhabit them, the threats they face, their conservation status, and the initiatives that can be undertaken to preserve them. Key themes include the environmental education among young people, the impact of the human on these green areas, how we can work in order to reduce this impact and how to promote green practices among young people in our local communities.
Participants will explore successful strategies through case studies and study visits on the field.
Profile of the candidates:
- Youth strongly interested in the topic of nature and preservation of species in risk of extinction and that are able to be ambassadors of green practices among young people in their local reality;
The age of the participants should be over 18 years old.

Young Effect Association is a non-profit organization created in 2009. It is an independent association and undertakes to carry out the following prerogatives:
- Promotion of youth mobility in Europe and the rest of the world.
- Non-formal education on intercultural youth dialogue and human rights.
- Inclusion of youth in the civil society independently of their race, religion, gender and level of instruction.
- Promotion of interest in development of historical, environmental, cultural and economic resources in the local territory.
- Offer training, seminars or similar activities at local, national and international level.
Young Effect Association is officially recognized by the municipality of Magenta in Lombardia region, Milano district of Italy and it is accredited by Italian National Agency for Erasmus KA1.

Summer school will cover participants’ educational sessions, study visits, materials, 3 full meals and accommodation in multiple rooms with gender based division.
Very important remark: travel is NOT covered by the project so the participants of the project will have to manage travel expenses by themselves.
