Study Visit to Finland

Framework and aim of the Study visit The Finnish National Agency in cooperation with the SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre is organising a Study visit to Finland for a small group of participants coming from youth organisations directly involved with the Action 2 - EVS to discover how inclusion is integrated in youth work in Finland and how Finnish youth organizations are implementing inclusion projects within Action 2 - EVS. The study visit will take place in Jyväskylä city and its surroundings. Specific objectives • to get familiar with the youth work and inclusion strategy in Finland, • to visit different youth organisations and learn about their activities/experience with implementation of inclusion projects within Action 2 – EVS and • to initiate partnerships for future EVS inclusion projects Profile of participants 8 participants coming from the Youth in Action programme’s neighbouring partner countries in South East Europe will be invited to take part in the Study visit. Participants should have: • interest in learning about youth work and implementation of inclusion projects in Finland, • knowledge about the Action 2 – EVS and • interest and/or experience in implementing inclusion projects within the Action 2 - EVS at their own youth organisations. Participants should be: • able to communicate in English and • be above 18 years old. More information about the activity is available in the document enclosed.
