Study Visit
26 April - 1 May 2026 | Vilnius, Lithuania
This study visit will bring together youth workers and municipal representatives from Programme and Partner Countries, offering them an in-depth look at youth work in Lithuania.
Participants will be introduced to the Lithuanian youth work system and will meet representatives of municipalities actively engaged in youth policy and practice. The programme also includes visits to several youth centres in both rural and urban areas, as well as meetings with open, street, and mobile youth work practitioners.
In addition, opportunities for future cooperation through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps will be presented and discussed.
Objectives
To introduce participants to the Lithuanian youth work system, its structure, and policy framework.
To share good practices in open, street, and mobile youth work through direct meetings with practitioners.
To strengthen understanding of the role of municipalities in developing and implementing youth work at local level.
To provide hands-on insight into youth work in both urban and rural contexts through study visits to youth centres.
To foster networking and exchange of experience between youth workers and municipal representatives from Programme and Partner Countries.
Methods and methodology
The study visit will be based on non-formal education methods
