During the project, we will develop streetworkers’ competencies through workshops, experience sharing, and analysis of case studies from different countries.

During the project, we will develop streetworkers’ competencies through workshops, experienc sharing, and analysis of case studies from different countries. Participants will explore new tools for working with socially excluded youth, including Motivational Dialogue, Nonviolent Communication.
 

The key outcome of the mobility will be the joint creation of the international guidebook “Bite me! A Compact Compendium on Streetworking.

” The guidebook will have a practical and visually engaging format and will be translated into all partner languages. The project also includes practical activities in the local community, international networking, and reflection and evaluation sessions outreach strategies, and risk assessment.

DRAFT OF THE PROGRAM

  • Sessions on the fundamentals of street work
  • Understanding street work as a tool for connection, empowerment, and social change.
  • Open discussions and practical activities on the following topics:

- Skills & competences of a street worker
- Compassionate boundaries – balancing support with self-care and professionalism
- Community knowledge – understanding local realities, needs, and cultural codes
- Respect and trust-building – essential for working on the street
- Non-judgmental attitude – meeting people where they are
- Motivation to empower others – not to “save", but to support growth.
