stART-up your creative exchange

Partnership-building Activity

1-5 March 2017 | De Glind, Netherlands

Partnership-building Activity with training elements to support newcomers in Erasmus+ Youth in Action in finding project partners and developing quality youth exchanges with dance, (street)art, music, theatre or other creative forms as a tool.
In this Partnership-building Activity (PBA) with training elements we want to gather organisations from the creative sector who can use some support in setting up quality youth exchanges and shaping the non-formal educational part in their project proposals. In the PBA we will train them how to use creativity and (street) art as an educational tool within a youth exchange and how to develop a youth exchange which meets the criteria of Erasmus+ Youth. ‘’stART-up your creative exchange’’ will also provide the platform to develop new partnerships and quality youth exchanges. In this 5-days (including travel) activity participants will get the opportunity to explore the possibilities of creating youth exchange projects. Through non-formal learning methods participants will get the chance to look into and learn about: ● art & creative forms as educational tools ● developing partnerships and youth exchanges ● how to involve youth actively in developing and organizing youth exchanges ● get new insights on creating good learning environments and how to work with young people on awareness of learning outcomes and competences they develop during these youth exchanges ● intercultural learning & dealing with change ● project management, as the organizational part of these projects 'stART up your creative exchange' is open for voluntary and professional youth workers, working with young people through (street) art and creative forms. The focus is on newcomers in Erasmus + Youth, with no or little experience in international youth exchanges. Participants should represent groups or organisations that have the intention plans to organise a youth exchange with dance, (street) art, music, theatre or other creative forms as a tool. 28 Participants (18+) from Programme countries, willing & able to work in English. On basis of the information in the applications the trainers will tailor the programme to the learning needs of the participants.
