Social Entrepreneurship

Training Course

8-15 November 2026 | Rimini, Italy

This TC will bring together 25 participants from across Europe. The TC will introduce participants to practical tools for developing a social enterprise, an NGO or a community initiative, with attention to its social purpose and long-term sustainability.

This training course will take place in Rimini, Italy, from 8 to 15 November 2026, bringing together 25 participants from across Europe for six programme days, plus two travel days.

The course will introduce participants to practical tools for developing a social enterprise, an NGO or a community initiative, with attention to its social purpose and long-term sustainability. Through practical activities, international teamwork and guidance from experienced trainers, participants will explore leadership, team building, digital tools and communication, applying what they learn to a simulated social enterprise.

Throughout the course, participants will reflect on how personal and shared values influence organisational decisions, how people work together and how an initiative can respond to community needs. The aim is to help them connect practical skills with a people-centred approach, recognising their own capacity to contribute to social change.

This edition is particularly designed for young people taking their first steps in social entrepreneurship and youth work.

Participants with more experience are also welcome to join, contribute and learn alongside the group.

Project objectives

- Introduce participants to practical tools for developing and organising a social enterprise, an NGO or a community initiative, considering its purpose, the people involved and its long-term sustainability.

- Develop skills in leadership, teamwork, digital tools and communication through practical activities.

- Explore how personal and shared values can guide decisions, working relationships and an organisation’s contribution to society.

- Strengthen participants’ ability to develop their own initiatives and support other young people in exploring social entrepreneurship.

- Encourage peer learning and international cooperation through teamwork and exchange with experienced trainers and participants from different backgrounds.

Participant Profile:

We welcome participants with different levels of experience. This edition is particularly aimed at young people who are new to social entrepreneurship, including volunteers, aspiring youth workers and those beginning to develop an NGO, a social enterprise or a community initiative. No previous experience in setting up or running an organisation is required.

The course is especially relevant to people involved in, or interested in becoming involved in, youth work and community activities, who would like to use their learning to develop an initiative or support other young people. More experienced participants are also welcome, with the understanding that the programme is designed primarily for beginners.

Participants should be willing to take part actively, work in international teams and reflect on both the practical and human aspects of running an organisation.

The working language is English. Participants should be able to follow instructions, share ideas and take part in group activities; perfect English is not required.
