Smart Moves: How to Learn from Mistakes and Stay Ahead at Work Webinar for Youth and Youth Educators

This webinar is part of the HIRE-FIRE project, an initiative developed to support young people in identifying their potential and navigating early career decisions with confidence. The session is designed for young people and also for youth workers, career advisors, and educators who work directly with young people on job orientation, employability, and career development.

During the webinar, participants will be introduced to practical, ready-to-use materials and training modules that can be integrated into guidance sessions, workshops, and individual counseling. The focus is on helping young people make informed career choices and avoid common recruitment mistakes using evidence-based and youth-friendly approaches.

What will you discover during the webinar:

• Practical job-search guidance tools you can use with young people to help them explore career paths aligned with their interests, values, and strengths.
• Recruitment and application insights, including how to support young people in preparing effective CVs and performing confidently in job interviews.
• Training modules focused on self-awareness and strengths identification, designed to help young people better understand and articulate their competencies.
• An overview of additional educational resources developed within the HIRE-FIRE project that can support career orientation work.
