SkillGrow: Youth Work Mastery in Action

Our objectives are:

1. Participants will develop their knowledge regarding 4 areas of youth work (motivation, social inclusion, non-formal learning and conflict management);

2. All the youth workers involved in the project will develop their own personalised toolbox of minimum 20 nonformal methods;

3. Participants will feel more confident as youth workers.

This project is mainly addressed to:

• people who work with youth
• volunteers
• mentors
• facilitators
• teachers 

Age limit: over 18, no upper age limit.

The trainer:

Kunka Velikova has her own NGO for more than 10 years and she implented 20 E+ projects. She is also the manager and owner of a Social Enterprise. She is a trainer in E+ projects and she is also an experienced coach.

Participants in this training course will learn how to:

• become better facilitators and mentors (applying new knowledge about goal setting, motivation, coaching etc);
• better structure their non-formal sessions and their sessions will have bigger impact on youngsters (with extra knowledge gained about NFE);
• use a bigger variety of methods and techniques to engage young people and help them learn and grow;
• remain calm and be better prepared for conflict situations, helping young people to learn how to resolve them;
• feel more confident and experience less stress which would naturally lead to increased quality of their work and increased motivation.
