�� LOCAL LARPs

The participants from each country must organize 1 larp event in their country within 4 months after the Training. The costs of materials or renting venues can be financed by Nausika up to the limit of 2000 EUR for all participants. 

We will assist and support you online with this task.

Required experience in at least two of the following: LARP, RPGs, Improv, Forum and Playback Theater, game-based and experience-based education.

��️ CONTINUATION

The Larp Alchemy Training will be continued once per year with a new agenda each time, the Participants are welcome to come regularly and co-create the Programs of the next Trainings.

Trainers:

Marcin “Słowik” Słowikowski: Culture expert, communication specialist, larp designer, promoter, and critic based in Poland. Co-founder of LubLarp project, organizer of Kola conference, TEDx speaker. Author of award-winning larps System and Nightclub. Game designer and master at Witcher School. He loves character and story-driven designs, heavy plots with twists and ambiguities, playing on characters’ relations and emotions. He thinks larps have a great impact on people and can bring a lot of valuable life lessons.

Patrycja Paula Gas: Anthropologist, lecturer, youth worker, trainer in the field of social and intercultural competences. Designing educational programs for youth and adults. Author of the book "Dajakowie wolni ludzie z Borneo" (The Dayaks - free people of Borneo, 2017) based on two-year long field research in Indonesia, co-author of "DiveIn - dip beyond reality. The manual for educators and youth workers on edu-larp methodology" (Kraków 2021), co-founder of Nausika Educational Foundation. Passionate about non-formal learning approach, especially using larp as a transformative and educational tool. Co-organizer of 7 years of Gimle Larp in Sweden http://gimlelarp.com/ and of Portal 10th Larp Conference in Poland http://www.portal10.pl/. Her motto: Flow - Unlearn - Revolve.

Zbyszek Janczukowicz: Founder of Nausika Educational Foundation, coordinator of LARP and other game-based-learning projects, including the Portal Project, from which the Portal 10 LARP Conference was organized in 2021 in Athens and in 2022 in Kraków, and the Larp For Climate project, which creates and collects acting games aimed for climate education and activism. Teacher of philosophy and ethics by education. Collector of historical board games and weird chess variants. Tirelessly exploring LARP as a tool of social change and personal development.

Costs

Participation fee

There is a non-refundable sign-up fee of 50 EUR for each participant, to be paid by bank transfer after confirmation and before the Training. The details will be sent in the email confirming your participation. 

The sign-up fee is introduced to encourage participants who are really into the topic, and to avoid last-minute drop-outs. If you’re not able to pay 50,00 EUR, please send us an email to biuro@nausika.eu, we will surely figure out a way to get you on board :)

Accommodation and food

Free of charge. Funded by Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme.

Travel reimbursement

The participants should book their travel and pay for it by themselves, they will receive the reimbursement of travel costs later after the Training.

The maximum cost of the reimbursement is specified according to the Erasmus+ Program Guide for the year 2022.
