Seminar Non-formal Education in Formal Education Context

6-10 September 2022 | Online, Poland

This project gathers actors of FE - schools, HEI and Colleges, together with NGOs to work on a better understanding of the practical way and possibilities of implementing nonformal education in the formal system.

Nonformal learning has been highlighted as a crucial tool to develop new skills for Europe, those which can promote inclusion of young people facing difficulties at societal level. This project gathers actors of Formal Education - schools, HEI and Colleges, together with NGOs to work on a better understanding of the practical way and possibilities of implementing nonformal education in the formal system.

Using Nonformal Educational methodologies and active learning we will explore to which extend NFe can be implemented (and has been implemented) in FE institutions.

Important: The Seminar will be implemented in an online format.

  • Get to know new schools, NGOs and Higher Education Institutions, so we can create future partnerships
  • Discuss what and how can we improve our activities while combining non formal education in formal education contexts;
  • Summarize it into results which can be beneficial to other youth workers, teachers, educators, pedagogues;
  • Create partnerships for future project sin sector of youth or formal education;
  • Create a ToolKit with best practices;
  • Find out more about how to combine NFE and FE using the Programme Erasmus+.
