Training Course
15 June - 17 August 2026 | Online, United Kingdom
Screenwriting for social change is a 10–week programme designed for aspiring visual storytellers who want to express their thoughts and emotions about the world through Screenwriting and Filmmaking
In this course, you will learn how to create the story you need to tell. Identifying what is your story about? Who are your characters? What world do they live in and how does it shape them?, exploring all the foundational elements that make up a well-crafted story. At the end of the course, you will be supported in developing your script and turning it into a short movie.
The course will use a safe space of facilitated dialogue to allow deep personal and group reflections, for everyone to explore themselves and ask ‘’Who am I? How does my world shape me?’’ while developing the characters and designing the worlds of their own story.

Creative Writing for Social Change (Others)
Creative Writing for Social Change is six three-hour creative writing workshops using virtual exchange methodology.
Part of the challenge of any intercultural dialogue is facilitating participants to open up about their personal experiences that have shaped their views and beliefs and made them the person they are. Creating an environment that enables groups to share the details of influential life events through creative writing allows for the growth of deep empathy.
Creative Writing for Social Change is for adults of any age and any background to dialogue and write creatively about the social issues that are most important to them, whether that is Islamophobia or Antisemitism, Patriarchy or Neurodiversity, Nationalism or Climate Change, Sexuality or Democracy.
