Risk’n’Roll TC
Risk’n’Roll is the result of previous experiences in the topic of risk management. It aims to increase the quality of international projects in the YiA through development of participants’ competence in risk assessment and management.
Aim of the training course:
- to increase the quality of international projects in the Youth in Action Programme through development of participants’ competence in risk assessment and risk management.
After the training course participants:
- will be able to do a risk assessment for Youth in Action projects (before and during implementation);
- will be able to identify potential threats and dangers during international projects;
- will improve their ability to manage the identified risk;
- will know how to involve young people/participants in the process of identification and reduction of risk in projects;
- will be able to implement various tools and methods that can facilitate risk management;
- will have greater knowledge of good practice in risk management and differences in national realities in Europe.
Target group:
This training course is meant for youth workers and youth leaders who:
- work directly with young people;
- have experience in international project management (at least one project that s/he coordinated);
- value the subject of risk management and have an interest in discovering it;
- are motivated to work on the topic in their youth projects afterwards;
- are from an organisation that is in a position to implement future youth projects or has their projects approved by the National Agency (we will work together to improve the quality of future projects);
- are committed to attend for the full duration of the course;
- feel confident to express themselves and work in English;
- are 18 years old or older;
- are residents of the Youth in Action Programme Countries (27 EU countries + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Turkey and Croatia), SEE and EECA regions (there are three or four places for participants from SEE and EECA countries).

Costs
Hosting costs will be covered by the Polish and Irish NAs of the Youth in Action Programme. For the reimbursement of travel costs please contact your National Agency. Travel costs of participants from SEE countries will be covered by SALTO SEE. Travel costs of participants from EECA countries will be covered by Polish NA.
