Training Course

10-19 August 2026 | Pamporovo, Bulgaria

A 8-day training course (plus 2 travel days) for 21 youth workers and 3 facilitators focused on promoting mental well-being, resilience, restoration, and healthy lifestyles through non-formal education, nature-based learning, and practical methods.

Main Objectives:

  • Equip youth workers with practical tools and non-formal education methods to promote mental well-being, resilience, self-care, and restorative practices among young people.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of mental health, life balance, and healthy lifestyles, especially for young people with fewer opportunities and diverse backgrounds.
  • Increase knowledge of inclusive and accessible mental health practices that help address stress, anxiety, isolation, and social exclusion.
  • Strengthen the capacity of youth workers to create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments while fostering active participation and social inclusion.
  • Build an international network of youth workers committed to sharing good practices, developing follow-up initiatives, and multiplying the project's impact within their local communities.

 

Profile of participants:

  • Youth workers, NGO staff, trainers, teachers, social workers, volunteers or university students aged 18+.
  • Be a citizen or legal resident in one of the partner countries.
  • Have experience and/or a strong interest in mental health, well-being, youth work, or non-formal education.
  • Be motivated to actively participate throughout the entire training course and contribute to the learning process.
  • Willing to organize at least one local dissemination or multiplier activity after the project.
  • Good English.

Participation fee

There is no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

All accommodation and meals will be provided by the coordinating organization.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs of the participants from their hometown to the venue and back will be reimbursed after the training course according distance band of erasmus+ guide:

  • 0-9: 0€
  • 10-99 km:  28€
  • 100-499 km: 211€
  • 500-1999 km: 309€
  • 2000-2999 km:  395€

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
