OBJECTIVES
The main objective is to become more aware and better-prepared to promote a responsible and critical use of new technologies — both in participants' non-formal education activities and in their own daily lives — while being more capable of supporting the young people they work with.
Participants will:
► Work on themselves as the main resource as youth workers
► Deepen their self-knowledge and self-awareness
► Analyze their strengths, achievements, areas for improvement and goals, especially connected with digitalization and mental health
► Share and exchange personal experiences, failures and good practices, focusing on a healthy use of IT
► Experience nature and outdoor activities as a key to balance the overuse of digital devices
► Find inspiration to create local initiatives at work with young people
► Learn and put into practice self-care when participating in social media
► Develop their approach to implementing self-esteem sessions connected with social media
► Increase self-compassion and compassion as youth workers, and promote a no-hate-speech culture online
► Create a network of youth workers from different countries and regions to exchange good practices, tools and resources

Asociación Parkeri (Youth NGO)
PARKERI is an association established in 2014 to connect communities and social stakeholders, build bridges for learning, and collaborate with diverse cultures and groups. To this end, we design and implement non-formal education projects—spanning local to international levels—as well as training and information activities, civic engagement campaigns, and advisory services for organizations and education professionals, while also supporting social and cultural initiatives.
At PARKERI, we create, support, advise, and empower organizations, groups, and individuals who wish to develop ideas related to education, culture, civic participation, social justice, and human rights.
PARKERI’s methodology is deeply rooted in being aware of our current position so that we can make informed decisions and take responsibility for the direction we wish to take in our lives, as well as in our community and youth work.
For the past five years, PARKERI has been particularly connected to the rural environment of the small villages in Madrid’s Sierra Norte mountains.

Accomodation and food will be 100% covered by the organization with the Erasmus + funds.
