RE-RURAL is a 5-day partnership-building activity in the Transition village of São Luis, Portugal, hosted by the Co.Re - Rural Learning Center (www.co-re.info). This first learning mobility is happening between 19th and 25th of October

We are organizing this activity to:

• Share the practices we are applying in our rural context
• Plan future collaborations with organisations working in rural areas
• Radically re-imagine the future of rural areas together in collaboration with Transition Network

LEARNING EXPERIENCE

• We apply non-formal education principles, guiding experiential learning activities;
• Engaging with the local community, landscape and culture,
• Promoting spaces for peer learning and growth.
• Balancing the Head, Heart and Hands.

PLANNED LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Exchange of good practices in working with youth, promoting participation and ecological responsibility in rural areas
• Experience the community engagement and rural development practices implemented in São Luis;
• Connect and grow relationships of collaboration with Youth workers and NGOs from all over Europe to implement high-quality projects as a network;
• Explore with Rob Hopkins how Radical imagination can drive our actions
