THE CONTEXT
The summit is held under the auspice of the Austrian EU Presidency 2018 and will take place right after the EU Youth Conference on 5.September 2018 (09:30 - 17:00) to facilitate a high involvement of stakeholders from the European youth field. As a starting point, the latest research findings of the network will be presented, including a comparison of survey data from 2009 onwards, aiming to inform the implementation of the renewed EU Youth Strategy 'Engaging, Connecting and Empowering young people' and the next generation of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme.
The conference will bring together 150 researchers, practitioners and policymakers who reflect the diversity of Europe’s youth sector.

PLEASE NOTE: in order to take part at the Triangular Summit, a two step registration is necessary - firstly please apply here via SALTO. Selected participants will get a link to the official Austrian Presidency accreditation system, where they have to register in a second step. Please note, only those applying also via the accrediation system are allowed to join the conference.
The Triangular Summit lasts one day (5 Sept) and starts in the morning (09:30); the following RAY network meeting (6-7 Sept) is open for RAY network partners only.
Information about training activities reaches SALTO from the most
different directions. SALTO cannot be held responsible for incorrect information or changes
in the training activities. However, please inform SALTO, whenever you should come upon
incorrect data in the European Training Calender. Always contact the organisers of the
training activities themselves for the latest information.
Before applying please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. NB! Learn about possible participation fee and other relevant rules.
Costs
This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your Erasmus+: Youth in Action NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. Please note that, in case of a cancellation 15 days before the event, we need to charge 50% of the costs for board and lodging; cancellation 14 days or less before the event will be charged 100% for board and lodging. The reimbursement will be sent to the respective NA of the participant who cancelled.
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
