"QUEST" is an outdoor learning journey for youth workers, focusing on tool-development in non-formal education.

"QUEST" is an outdoor learning journey for youth workers, focusing on tool-development in non-formal education. Explore nature's role in youth empowerment, gain literacy on various competencies and topics such as digital skills, sustainability, inclusion & diversity while developing tools for enhancing their skills, knowledge, and attitudes in youth work.

As can be inferred from the name of the project, the participants will get back as different people from their “QUEST”!!

"QUEST" is an innovative Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course meticulously designed for youth workers who are deeply committed to using outdoor education as a powerful methodology within the realm of non-formal learning.

The core of "QUEST" lies in its dual focus: not only will participants experience the transformative power of outdoor learning firsthand, but they will also engage in a collaborative tool-development process aimed at enhancing their skills, knowledge, and attitudes in youth work.

What You Will Gain

Participants will be actively involved in developing practical tools that can be directly applied in their youth work contexts, facilitating the transfer of newly acquired knowledge into tangible resources.

Participating in "QUEST" is a kind of investment in your personal and professional growth as a youth worker:

You will deepen your literacy in critical competencies and contemporary topics, which is essential for modern youth work, specifically gain enhanced understanding and practical application in digital skills, environmental sustainability, and also inclusion & diversity. This comprehensive approach ensures you are well-equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of youth challenges and opportunities.

A key tangible outcome of your "QUEST" will be your active involvement in a collaborative tool-development process. You won't just learn about tools; you will contribute to creating practical, ready-to-use resources that directly address real-world needs in youth work.

This hands-on experience in co-creating educational instruments will significantly enhance your capacity in facilitating non-formal learning, enabling you to design more impactful and engaging activities for the young people you work with.

Ultimately, you will return from your "QUEST" as a more resourceful, innovative, and empowered youth worker, ready to apply newly acquired knowledge and tangible tools to make a lasting difference in your community.

Who Should Apply?

Training is specifically targeted at individuals actively engaged in youth work and non-formal learning settings, who are eager to

  • expand their methodological repertoire,
  • contribute to the creation of innovative learning tools and
  • use the outcome of the project tools in their practice.
