Queerasmus+

Seminar

18-20 May 2022 | Ireland

Queerasmus+ is a contact making seminar where we invite representatives from queer youth groups and LGBTI+ friendly organisations to learn from and get inspired by each other’s activities.

The seminar will serve as a place to find new reliable partners and to build a safe and solid foundation for future cooperation within Erasmus+ programme. Participants will be given a chance to come up with creative ideas for international cooperation and get familiar with Erasmus+ and the funding possibilities.

Aim: Increase mobilities and participation of LGBTI+ organizations in Erasmus+ programme

Objectives:

-Provide examples of best practice in LGBTI+ projects under Erasmus+

-Understand how Erasmus+ (particularly youth exchanges) can support your work.

-To identify and respond to challenges thereby increasing young people's participation

-To provide the space for youth workers to create project ideas and build partnerships.

-Connect policy to youth work practice

Outcomes:

-Participants will have a clearer knowledge on how Erasmus+  can support their LGBTI+ youth work practice.

-Participants should leave with partners and ideas on how to apply for an international youth project together
