PSSST - Participative Soft Skills Somatic Training

Training Course

14-23 November 2023 | Slovenia

PSSST is an Erasmus+ project combining embodiment practices and the experience of silence to dive into ourselves and learn through our bodies, so the new knowledge can be passed on and met in our everyday lives and work.

With this kind of project, we want to highlight the importance of motivating young people to a responsible and compassionate way of living, which requires a sufficient degree of empathy (towards oneself and others) and one's own calmness in achieving constructive changes in the world. This kind of attitude contributes to greater tolerance, inclusive behaviour and awareness of differences and the importance of a sensitive way of living while being considerate of the social and natural environment.

Our work methodologies are based on mindful and somatic approaches, which help to strengthen the holistic development of human potential and, as a result, a professional attitude that gives young people an example of responsible behaviour.

FOR WHO?

This project is designed for youth workers, trainers, educators, NGO leaders, mental health professionals, etc. who are willing to...

challenge themselves and understand the multifaceted world of our psychophysical functioning by embracing the particular approach while meeting in silence, explore the expressive potential of the body through somatic-kinesthetic learning, movement and dance, spend time outdoors for physical activities, no matter the weather, gather new tools and inspirations for their work and activities with youngsters, commit fully to the program, be open, curious and adaptive.

Who can apply?

We aim to have 30 participants from Italy, Slovenia, France, Germany, Spain, Czechia, Romania, Latvia & Greece.

  • Participants must be over 18 years old and have a communicative level in English so that they can participate fully in the program.
  • Participants that are willing to commit to the whole project (both trainings) will have priority in selection.

At the heart of Drustvo MOAVE's mission lies a dedication to helping individuals embark on a deeply personal journey of self-awareness and self-empowerment.

We firmly believe that the path to a fulfilling life begins with reconnecting with one's body intelligence and embracing authenticity. Our organization is driven by the aspiration to empower individuals to lead authentic, embodied lives.

In our programs we interconnect knowledge of different movement, somatic and dance background with psychological principles and theories. The ground we work on is creating a bridge between psychology and somatic, to awake the awareness of how our bodies and psyche are interconnected.
