Training Course
16-23 June 2025 | Arroyomolinos, Spain
Pride Lens to Europe is a training course designed to provide young professionals with diverse skills in communication, such as storytelling and the use of photography to tell stories from the perspective and personal voice of young people. This course incorporates three key methodologies: self-reflection, photo story and photovoice. Through these innovative techniques we will be able to connect with young people from excluded communities or groups, especially focusing on the LGBTQ+ community.
Therefore, with this training course we want to work on the following objectives:
- Acquire knowledge and non-formal methodologies in the use of innovative methods based on photography, with the aim of
promoting the active participation of young people in our community.
- To improve the understanding of LGBTQ+ rights and their importance in working with young people in the LGBTQ+ community.
- To equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply inclusive practices in their youth work environments.
- Create opportunities for partners to create future partnerships, fostering a supportive community of youth workers.
- To empower participants with the skills and motivation to initiate and implement inclusive projects in the context of youth work.
Pride Lens to Europe is a project that will have 24 youth workers as participants, coming from Italy, North Macedonia, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine that during 6 days will learn different technical methodologies in the framework of non-formal education through this training course.
