Play It Forward - Multiplayer Event

Through hands-on methods, collaborative activities, and peer exchange, participants will discover how game-based learning can be integrated into non-formal education to foster engagement, creativity, and critical thinking among young people.

Participants will learn how to:

• Use and facilitate educational DIY games — especially portable escape boxes, card games, simulation and role-playing games — in various youth work contexts (locally or internationally e.g. in youth exchanges)
• Understand the basic principles of educational games
• Apply game-based learning methods to strengthen young peoples competences on topics like media and digital literacy, social inclusion, global citizenship or sustainability
• Create participatory learning environments through playful approaches

Build sustainable partnerships with youth workers and educators from different European countries (participants from Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia are expected)

A highlight of the exchange will be the visit to the 53rd International Mobile Play Congress under the theme “Play Without Limits”, where participants will gain direct inspiration from practitioners and have the opportunity to practice facilitating educational games themselves.
