Training Course

10-17 July 2025 | Lozen, Bulgaria

Main Objective: To strengthen the capacities of participating organizations and youth workers in peace-building, conflict prevention, and mediation through specialized theater-based training.

Main Objective:
To strengthen the capacities of participating organizations and youth workers in peace-building, conflict prevention, and mediation through specialized theater-based training.

The training will use interactive and reflective methodologies to engage youth in critical dialogue and action, empowering them to understand structural inequalities and take active roles in advancing the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda within their communities.

Specific Objectives:

  • To develop participants’ understanding of the concepts of community building, creation and sustainability, peace, and human rights at the interpersonal, planetary, and institutional levels.
  • To foster participants’ capacities to act as community leaders, peacebuilders, and multipliers of inclusive values at local, regional, and European levels.
  • To enhance participants' self-reflection and self-assessment skills in their learning processes and in meaningful cooperation with others, and to enable them to transfer the acquired skills into the educational development of others.
  • To develop young people’s knowledge of human rights, active citizenship, conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork skills.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
To create four- five interactive community theatre pieces addressing themes of oppression relevant to Youth, Peace, and Security, such as youth marginalization in decision-making processes, hate speech, discrimination, intersectionality, and intercultural tensions.
