Peace INfluencers Webinar, Media Literacy, Digital Peacebuilding, and Positive Social Media Engagement

E-learning

30 July 2026 | Online , Poland

Peace INfluencers Webinar explores how media shapes our thoughts, behaviours, and relationships, and how digital spaces can promote media literacy, dialogue, and peace.

This webinar is organised as part of Peace INfluencers, an Erasmus+ Youth project exploring media literacy, digital content creation, and digital peacebuilding. The webinar will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect on the influence of media and social media on individual behaviours, public discourse, and community relationships.

Participants will explore how digital spaces shape the way we think, communicate, and understand the world around us. Through interactive activities, they will examine how language influences perceptions, how to recognise manipulation and harmful narratives online, and how to develop critical thinking, dialogue skills, and empathetic communication. The webinar will also explore how digital platforms can become spaces for collective care, solidarity, and active citizenship, where communication can build bridges and foster a culture of peace.

The webinar will feature testimonials from youth leaders involved in the Peace INfluencers project and introduce the Peace INfluencers Toolkit, a practical resource containing tools, activities, and methodologies to support youth workers, educators, and trainers in promoting media literacy and digital peacebuilding.

The webinar will feature contributions from social media strategists and marketing and media experts with backgrounds in youth work, activism, and community organising, who will share insights into how digital communication can create impact and promote positive social change.
