Partnership-building Activity

5-9 October 2026 | Tunisia

This PBA aims at bringing together organisations from programme countries and the neighbouring partner countries wishing to develop the Green dimension in their ESC projects.

This Partnership Building Activity aims at gathering organisations from programme countries and the neighbouring partner countries in order to work on the Green priority within the European Solidarity Corps programme.  

It will bring together around 40 participants from organisations in the programme countries and neighbouring partner countries and it will focus on the Green priority and the cooperation with partner countries in the field of ESC. The activity will include sessions on how to develop a Green approach in ESC projects, how to cooperate with the neighbouring partner countries and will be the opportunity to share best practices, challenges & ideas.   

This PBA will take place from Monday, 5 October (day of arrival) to Friday, 9 October (day of departure) in Tunisia, the precise city is to be confirmed. 

For the selected candidates, there will be an online onboarding session on Wednesday, 2 September from 2 PM CEST to 4 PM CET

Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify priority issues related to sustainable development within the context of European Solidarity Corps and regional projects.
  • Explore and exchange ideas for projects, practices, and partnerships that integrate the principles of sustainable development within the framework of the ESC.
  • Formulate a basic idea of an international project or partnership that integrates the dimensions of sustainable development and the principles of the ESC.
  • Develop quality partnerships involving neighbouring partner countries.

 Target group:

  • Organisations with previous experience in ESC;
  • Organisations willing to work on & develop quality partnerships with neighbouring partner countries;
  • Organisations interested in developing the Green priority in their ESC project.

Profile of participants:

  • Informed representatives of organisations having past experience of implemented projects in European Solidarity Corps;
  • With a mandate from their organisations to start developing cooperation projects;
  • From organisations that are motivated & willing to develop partnerships.

This Partnership Building Activity is organised in the framework of the Strategic National Agencies’ Cooperation “Beyond Borders”. The aim of the Long-Term Activity is to promote & develop cooperation with neighbouring partner countries: https://beyondb.eu/.

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

SALTO EuroMed will cover the acocmodation & food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
