Youth Peace Ambassadors Network is making a call for participants for the partnership building seminar “Connecting Bridges” which will take place on 16-21 September 2014 in Slavsko, Ukraine.
The theme of the project is intercultural dialogue and conflict transformation in the countries of project participants. The objectives: - to develop joined actions on projects related to intercultural dialogue and conflict transportation; - to increase amount of quality projects in the field of intercultural dialogue and conflict transformation; - to strengthen the network of organizations working on the field of intercultural dialogue and conflict transformation and make the working plan for the Network for 2014-2015; - to promote democracy, solidarity and human rights; to provide tools in intercultural dialogue and conflict transformation and campaigning for youth workers from countries with economic, geographical disadvantages. Methodology: Within the event, the following activities will be used: getting-to-know each other, building common ground, presentation of the youth programme, intercultural dialogue and conflict transformation concepts and aspects in the international youth work, project development, networking, organizational expo, evaluation. The methods used for the PBA are based on intercultural and non-formal learning, have participatory and experiential approaches. Working language: English. Who can apply: - Youth Peace Ambassadors and NGO workers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine. - Age of participants 18 +. - Efficient level of English. - Possibility to and dedication for implementation of developed initiatives. Conditions of participation: The organizers cover 70% of the travel costs, accommodation, food, and materials for the seminar. The participants will need to contribute 30% of travel costs. How to apply: To apply, you will need to fill out application form. The deadline for submission of application forms is 25 August 2014. Hosting organization: Center for European Initiatives (www.eu.sumy.ua) Youth peace Ambassadors Network is an informal network of young peace builders across Europe who work with and in conflict-affected communities through youth work, including educational activities such as training sessions, seminars, peer education, as well as advocacy and activism projects. Costs

The organizers will cover accommodation, food, and 70 % of travle costs from the home city ti the project venue within the budget limit for every country. The participants will need to contribute 30% of travel costs.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
