Partnership Building Activity for EVS MENTOR

Aim: Aim is to motivate, bring in contact Mentors from Programme Countries and “find out” the profile of the ideal Mentor Objectives: • To learn how to cope with crisis situations and exploring tools for crisis management and crisis resolution in an intercultural environment • intercultural learning, dealing with ambiguity and change • volunteering • identification of the roles, rights and responsibilities of all actors in the EVS project • sharing experience, good practices, as well as methods and tools related to different aspects of mentoring. • To build a common ground regarding the needs and responsibilities of the ideal mentor within the European Voluntary service • To provide space for developing new projects ideas and setting up new partnerships • To explore the benefits of intercultural learning and presenting ideas to deal with ambiguity and change • To disscuss the importance of recognition of competences, obtained through non-formal education methods and the mentor's role in the process Eligible participants are: A part of EVS accredited organisations Have been involved in at least one EVS project as a mentor.
