Partnership-building Activity

11-18 July 2022 | Prerov, Czech Republic

Idea Lab activity aims to bring together representatives of youth organizations, youth workers open to sharing youth work practices from their countries and to work on new project ideas that could be supported by the Erasmus + Programme.

The main goal of the 'Idea Lab' : ‘PPE: Idea Lab' is to give youth workers an opportunity to network, learn from each other practices and come up with new ideas addressing the needs of their target groups.

The OBJECTIVES of ‘PPE: Idea Lab’:

  • to increase knowledge of the participants on the new Erasmus + Programme, to network and brainstorm ideas for future projects;
  • to raise competencies of youth workers needed to identify the needs of young people/their target groups, to design projects supporting the development of the competencies of young people;
  • to reflect on the consequences of pandemicCOVID -19 on the work of small and medium youth organizations, to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the way of working, and to rethink the ways of working with young people;
  • to share good practices, methods, and tools, to encourage transferring of good practices across participating organizations;
  • to support networking between Programme and Partner countries;
  • to equip a wider audience with knowledge on the new Erasmus + Programme.

In the activity 'Idea Lab' we are looking to meet up with:

  • youth workers coming from Programme and Partner countries participating in the project, meeting the criteria set by the Programme Guide (being legal residence of the country);
  • having experiences in the field of youth work, not necessarily in the area of preparing project proposals, but in the field of youth work. It means being able to share their experiences, methods, tools, and ideas with others;
  • representing youth organizations working with various groups of young people strongly interested in sharing their ways of working with young people, networking, identifying common needs and interests, and working on new project ideas;
  • support follow-up activities, and be actively involved in visibility and dissemination activities;
  • open to working in a mix-intercultural environment with communicative English;
  • over 18 years, preferably in the age category 22 - 35.
