Out Loud

Seminar

6-12 October 2024 | Molfetta, Italy

Professional Development Activity (PDA) developed within the Erasmus+ Accreditation of Associazione InCo - Molfetta APS, focused on Communication, Dissemination, and Promotion within Erasmus+ projects.

The project will consist of a 5-day international training for youth workers, who are daily working for the promotion, impact and dissemination of their Erasmus+ projects. The idea of the project starts from the assumption that the Erasmus+ programme is still recognized as the most successful programme for students, thus ignoring the other sectors of the programme such as VET, Adult and Youth.

The training will focus on the main dilemma “dissemination of projects vs promotion” of the E+ programmes and exploring the new trends of communication in order to reach young people and institutions at the same time.

The activities will consist of a number of workshops and tools in order to fill the gap between promotion and dissemination. While the dissemination is a part of each granted project, the promotion is a more structured process, that involves investments and long-term planning. Thanks to the new accreditation solution, organizations can implement a European Development Plan using promotion techniques such as marketing or similar.

Young people are the main target group of the Erasmus+ Programme: Youth sector and is crucial to ensure the impact of the programme, institutions are a more specific target group in order to enhance the recognition of Youth Work.

The training will be divided into 3 sections: communication (towards any target group); dissemination (towards a specific target group); and promotion (towards multiple target groups to ensure the branding knowledge).

Participants and partners need to play an important role in this project, as they are required to share an activity, tool or best practice about promotion, dissemination or communication that use in their organization.

Among the objectives of this Professional Development Activity we aim indeed to give participants opportunities to exchange experiences, methodologies and strategies about communication, promotion and dissemination to improve quality of their projects and management of their organizations.

InCo - Molfetta is a non-profit association, born in 2016, thanks to a group of members moving back to Apulia region after several years of mobility experience abroad. The members decided to establish a new local organization in Apulia in order to provide local youngsters the same opportunities as they had benefited. InCo is an acronym standing for "Interculturality and Communication" beacuse the main aim of the association is to put in contact different cultures. Beside that InCo promotes and supports mobility abroad, contacts, exchanges and meetings at international level; it promotes mutual tolerance and intercultural sensitivity among young people and adults; supports the unformal process of European integration in the local community; contributes at the recognition of the youth work and enhances its quality at local and national level.
