OPEN CALL: Artist Playground — Youth Worker Mobility Erasmus+ 2025

Training Course

7-12 July 2025 | Antwerp, Belgium - FL

Artist Playground is a youth worker mobility in Antwerp (July 7–12, 2025) bringing together young artists, youth workers and art teachers to explore how art can transform public spaces and support inclusive, child-friendly environments.

Artist Playground is an international youth worker mobility designed for young people (ages 16–30) with a background or strong interest in the arts, who are eager to start artistic practice to transform public spaces to become a brave space for diverse community.

Hosted in Antwerp, Belgium from July 7–12, 2025, the program brings together participants from across Europe to explore how dance, music, theater, and visual arts can be used to animate and reimagine public spaces—especially those shared by children and families.

Through a combination of interactive workshops, collaborative creation, and real-life artistic interventions in public areas, participants will:

Learn how to design and facilitate art-based activities in child-friendly urban spaces
— Train in non-violent communication, growth mindset, and inclusive facilitation methods
Develop practical skills through first aid training
— Engage in intercultural learning and reflection through shared living and team-building activities

Participants will stay in shared (non-gender-mixed) rooms at a local hostel in Antwerp, with all meals provided. The program is free of charge, and travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ guidelines.
