ONLINE WEBINAR: DIGITAL NOMADS AND THEIR POTENTIAL FOR YOUTH WORK IN RURAL EUROPE

Seminar

23 November 2023 | VIRTUAL, Slovenia

A virtual workshop will take place on the 23rd of November at 9.30. We will talk about the new trends within youth work associated with digital nomads. We will discuss the published Nomazine and guide for attracting digital nomads to rural areas!

The virtual meeting will guide you through our project, Nomadland which has been supported and co-financed by the Erasmus+ KA2 grant. We will share with you how digital nomads can contribute to the youth work in the countryside, present our special magazine, a  Nomazine, where we published 20 good practices in the countryside and prepared ten interviews with digital nomads. You will have unique opportunity to have a fresh look in our guide to attracting digital nomads to the countryside with a special focus on the youth work, and contribute with your own ideas!

A 3-hour event, which will take place on the 23rd of November at 9:30 a.m., will be a unique possibility to:

LEARN ABOUT THE TREND OF DIGITAL NOMADISM

The virtual meeting will be a great possibility to learn who digital nomads are and their way of life. As a part of the Nomazine magazine, we asked ten digital nomads to share their stories with us.

DISCOVER 5 HIDDEN AREAS IN EUROPE

Learn more about 5 different regions in Europe – Idrija, Cuenca, Bergstrasse-Odenwald, Gračac and Iž. Each area is unique and brings another aspect to the rich European cultural landscape! Watch the videos of more than 10 young people who love their areas!

CREATE YOUR OWN RETREAT IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

We will introduce you to the just published guide to developing digital nomadism in Rural Areas with a Focus on Youth Work. It consists of 3 chapters where you will learn about establishing a digital nomads' retreat, financing it and also learn why youth work attracts more digital nomads!

You will have a chance to participate in the workshop, where we would like to hear your suggestions and ideas on attracting digital nomads to the countryside!
