WELL-BEING IN YOUTH WORK: From Theory to practice

The conference WELL-BEING IN YOUTH WORK: From Theory to practice will explore:

  • What is well-being from the theory already published in European official sources;
  • Clarify what well-being is and its misconceptions;
  • Introduce the results of the focus groups lead in Poland and in Italy;
  • Reflect upon own well-being, through a short workshop;
  • Run a survey on reflection on own well-being;
  • Discuss with other youth workers how well-being in seen in different countries.

Conference plan:

  • Introduction to the project WELLBEING: BUILDING RESILIENCE IN YW;
  • Introduction to theory based research on the topic of well-being and social inclusion total;
  • Share results from focus groups, run among youth workers and young people facing social exclusion;
  • Reflection upon own well-being;
  • Survey on well-being and social inclusion 
  • Breakout rooms, share youth work, social inclusion and well-being in different countries; between educators, youth workers, trainers;
  • Closing;

This conference is a perfect place for you if you want to:

  • Share your experience working with marginalized youth; or/and
  • Learn more about well-being; or/and
  • Make yourself a priority and reflect upon own well-being; or/and
  • Learn to better support yourself and young people; or/and
  • Meet other educators and youth workers and share challenges or network;
  • Create a milestone to keep developing well-being and define the topic as an important element of your life and of your work.

Target Group: Youth Workers, educators, trainers in the non formal learning field, NGO volunteers working with the topic of social inclusion, migrants, refugees, NEET, fewer opportunity youth

CERTIFICATION:

Participants participating in a conference will receive a certificate of participation in English. When registering, make sure the personal data is correctly provided, as well as the email to which the certificate will be sent.

Selection of participants:

Participants will be selected based on their profiles and responses.

If possible, we will allow additional participants from the reservation list to join the webinar, doing our best to accommodate as many interested people as possible.
