OneWay – Seminar on Youth Inclusion

Seminar

19-27 November 2026 | Predeal, Brașov, Romania

Seminar for youth workers, facilitators, educators and volunteers on the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. Predeal, Romania, 19-27 Nov 2026. Last places for Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and Spain. Apply by 5 Nov!

OneWay – Seminar on Youth Inclusion is an Erasmus+ seminar for people who work with young people with fewer opportunities and want to make their daily work more inclusive.

Aim – To strengthen the capacity of youth workers to support the social inclusion, active participation and empowerment of young people through inclusive youth work, intercultural learning and international cooperation.

Objectives -  By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

- Name the main barriers young people with fewer opportunities face (economic, social, geographical, educational, cultural, health, disability) and compare how they show up in different countries;

- present a good practice from their own work and adapt at least one practice from another country to their local context;

- design and test with peers a non-formal activity that is accessible and adapted to young people with fewer opportunities; - recognise their own habits and assumptions that can lead to exclusion, and choose concrete changes for their daily work;

- build contacts with youth workers, experts and stakeholders and develop at least one follow-up idea (a local action, a dissemination activity or a future project).

International conference – 25 November 2026

As part of the seminar, we host an international conference on youth inclusion, open to local youth workers, experts, institutions and organisations. Participants can join an open panel discussion or facilitate a 45-minute workshop on a method or tool they already use with young people. You don't need to be an experienced trainer – we are interested in real practice, not perfect presentations.

Methodology

Non-formal, participatory methods: sharing experience, peer learning, working in small groups and testing activities together. There is daily reflection time and all participants receive a Youthpass certificate. After the seminar The practices and workshops shared during the seminar will be turned into two free resources for youth workers: an interactive toolkit and a multimedia collection of inspiring practices. Each participant will also run a small follow-up activity in their local community.
