OFF SCRIPT “ THROUGH AN EGYPTIAN LENS “ 20-24 November 2026 | Cairo, Egypt

Training Course

20-24 November 2026 | Cairo, Egypt

By the end of the training, participants will be able to develop, design, and execute a complete digital communication campaign using social media strategy, while applying principles of audience engagement and digital communication.

The training explores how digital media, photography, visual storytelling, and social media can be used as practical tools in youth work. Participants will learn how to transform ideas, youth activities, experiences, and social topics into engaging digital stories that can reach and inspire young people.

Digital media has become one of the most powerful tools for communication, advocacy, education, and community engagement. Social media platforms allow individuals and organizations to reach diverse audiences, communicate complex ideas in accessible ways, and create campaigns that can influence attitudes and encourage meaningful action. However, effective digital communication requires more than simply posting content. It involves understanding audiences, developing clear messages, creating visually engaging content, using appropriate digital tools, and strategically planning campaigns.

With the rapid growth of social media and digital communication, there is an increasing need to equip young people and future healthcare professionals with practical skills that enable them to communicate effectively in an increasingly digital environment. Despite the widespread use of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other digital media, many young people have limited access to structured training in content creation, visual communication, photography, graphic design, storytelling, and digital campaign development. This creates a gap between consuming digital content and being able to intentionally create impactful and meaningful content.
