NVC for Refreshing Post Pandemic Youth Work is an international project developing the competencies of 24 youth workers coming from 8 different countries in practicing empathy and embracing non-violent communication (NVC).

NVC for Refreshing Post Pandemic Youth Work is an international project developing the competencies of 24 youth workers coming from 8 different countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, North Macedonia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Cyprus) in practicing empathy and embracing non-violent communication (NVC).


The aim of the project is to empower youth workers, leaders, and youth project coordinators, in dealing with conflict, tension, or misunderstandings in a mindful and peaceful way. This component is relevant in the work environment at the youth organizations and while directly working with young people.


The project objective are the following: 
- To develop the conceptual understanding of youth workers in NVC work, as the most actual concept in communication concept in contemporary peace education;
- To strengthen the competencies of youth workers in applying concrete tools and methods from the NVC approach to daily youth work in local communities;
- To intensify transnational cooperation between the project partners around NVC approach as the most modern and actual methodology in the youth work field;
- To support the professional development of those who work with youth, with a view to improving the quality of their communication;
- To provide youth organizations and youth workers with opportunities for cooperation and peer support.

Maximum travel costs budget are as follows:

Czech Republic up to 180 EUR,

Poland up to 275 EUR,

Romania up to 275 EUR,

North Macedonia up to 275 EUR,

Germany up to 180 EUR,

Italy up to 275 EUR,

Cyprus up to 360 EUR.
