Non-formal Methods for a Greener World

Training Course

4-10 September 2023 | Romania

Help youth workers and volunteers to discover new ways of implementing green methods in their everyday work.

In this project we will encourage youth workers to develop more green strategies and methodologies in implementing their activities. We want to share new non-formal education methods that can focus on sustainability and a more ecological way of living. 

Our project objectives are:

1. Developing knowledge regarding ecology, sustainability and environmental-friendly approach when designing projects, activities and non-formal educational methods. 

2. Learn how to create and implement green strategies, methodologies and non-formal educational methods.

3. Develop a more proactive attitude towards becoming true agents of change by implementing green non-formal methods in their daily work with young people.

 

This project is mainly addressed to:

  • Youth workers with experience in the youth field
  • Youth workers that are new in the NGO
  • Teachers
  • Mentors
  • Trainers
  • Active volunteers

Age limit: over 18, no upper age limit.

The project will be facilitated by two experienced trainers.

Arhire Alexandru has been working in Erasmus+ projects since 2014 and he facilitated more than 30 training courses. He is passionate about ecology and he is curently working in a NGO focused on Sustainability. 

Antal Kinga has been working in Erasmus+ projects since 2018 and she is very experienced with non-formal education methods. She is a youth worker and a consiler in Babes Bolyai University.

This project is financed by Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth. There is no participation fee.

Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, food, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered.
