Non Formal LAB - Theatre Edition

Training Course

2-8 May 2024 | Presenzano (CE), Italy

This project focuses on Non-Formal Education (NFE) as powerful process to address the evolving needs of the learners, offering a variety of activities that ensure inclusivity and empowerment, especially those focused on theatre-based methods

This activity is the second mobility of project, a youth workers mobility consisting of a study visit and a training course. The former was implemented 11-15 March 2024, in Sweden, with representatives from the partner Countries that gathered to witness hands-on practices of experienced organizations working with the topics and methodologies of the project, as well as plan important preparatory tasks for the next stages.

Main objectives are:

  • Explore elements and characteristics of different educational approaches and models
  • Understand the principles and importance of NFE in daily work with youth to engage diverse target groups
  • Provide participants with resources and opportunities to experiment different kind of NFE
    and theatre methods
  • Develop and strengthen youth workers’ competences in designing and delivering NFE activities focused on theatre
  • Increase youth workers’ capacities to adjust and adapt NFE and theatre methods to their local communities
  • Strengthen partners’ capacities to establish sustainable partnerships and build up a stronger network of European youth NGOs working with NFE

Through non-formal education methodologies, our project aims to provide participants with
the right tools to support their learning process towards active citizenship, creating an experiential and inclusive environment.

You can find more detailed information about the project in the attached infopack.

Selected participants
will receive additional information and preparation tasks from the sending partner organizations, that are in charge of the final selection from each national group.
