NextGen Facilitators

Training Course

11-19 December 2026 | Zamárdi, Hungary

Ready to step up from participant to facilitator? Join our 7-day training course to master non-formal workshop design, handle tricky group dynamics, and kickstart your project organizer journey with digital tools and responsible AI!

Overview

Are you an aspiring youth worker ready to step up as a facilitator? Join our 7-day Erasmus+ training course designed to equip you with the essential skills, tools, and confidence to design engaging workshops, understand non-formal learning, and kickstart your project organizer journey.

Through intensive days filled with practical methods, dynamic activities, and peer exchange, you will explore group dynamics, practice debriefing, and discover how to handle challenging moments in a group. Along the way, we will dive into modern digital tools and AI to support your preparation and project workflow in an effective yet responsible way. You will also get hands-on experience by designing and delivering your own workshop live, receiving feedback from peers and trainers.

This training course connects hands-on facilitation to the wider Erasmus+ project lifecycle: from a single 90-minute session to a full international initiative. You will meet motivated peers from across Europe, build lasting partnerships, and realize that your age is not a barrier to becoming a recognized youth worker and facilitator.

What You Will Learn

  • Gain insights into creating impactful workshops, particularly within the framework of non-formal education and the Erasmus+ programme.
  • Learn how individual workshops scale into full international youth projects and understand the essentials of project design and project writing.
  • Use digital tools and AI responsibly to boost quality and work more efficiently while learning about potential pitfalls.
  • Develop confidence and practical facilitation competences through live workshop delivery, instruction-giving, and structured debriefing.
  • Build an international network of emerging youth workers from 12 European countries to develop future high-quality Erasmus+ projects together.

Who Can Apply

We are looking for 24 participants from Portugal, Romania, Spain, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, and Estonia. This course is for you if:

  • You are eager to facilitate workshops but feel unsure about how to design and deliver them effectively.
  • You have gained a lot from Erasmus+ projects as a participant and now want to give back from the organizer side.
  • You feel it in your heart that you want to step into international youth work and lead new initiatives.
  • You want to build confidence as a facilitator to lead impactful, engaging sessions.
  • You are worried that your age might hold you back from being taken seriously as a facilitator and project organizer.

  • Language: Intermediate or higher level of English (able to actively communicate and deliver activities in English).
