New Perspectives - International Partner Seminar for interim evaluation

The project NEW PERSPECTIVES will combine measures of vocational qualification together with the European Voluntary Service. Young people who are taking part in those measures are to be encouraged and enabled to do a European Voluntary Service in order to acquire an important impetus for their personal development and improve their career opportunities. During the Contact-Making-Seminar which took place in 2009 reliable international Partnerships have been facilitated between organisations providing measures of vocational training/qualification in Europe within the frame of the European Voluntary Service. The French participants in this first CMS were both promoters of EVS projects (sending and hosting young people with fewer opportunities as volunteers) and promoters of projects of international educative mobility for young people, in the frame of a National Programme called “Social Experimental Fund for Youth” launched by the French Government in 2009. The similarity of the objectives of the 2 projects (New Perspectives in Germany & Social Experimental Fund for Youth in France) is the main reason for the cooperation between the German and the French National Agencies for the organisation of this International Partner Seminar for interim evaluation of the course of the project. The aim of this interim evaluation is now the consolidation of this international partnerships, considering the ongoing projects and the evaluation of the experiences gained. The programme provides the possibility - to support networking - to exchange experiences - to learn more about SALTO-Inclusion - to get acquainted with the possibilities of Youthpass - to develop new Ideas and future projects - to evaluate the the experiences gained
