Neformál: SexEd (in Czech language)

We invite you to a unique intensive training workcamp named Neformál: SexEd, focused on sexual education, specifically designed for those who wish to delve deeply into this topic.

During this four-day program, participants will explore various aspects of sexual education, gaining the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for effective and sensitive work with young people in this important area.

The camp program will cover the following topics:

• Introduction to sexual education and its importance in the context of informal education
• Anatomy, physiology, and development during puberty and adolescence
• Safe sex, contraception, and prevention of sexually transmitted infections
• Modern trends and topics in sexuality (BDSM, sexual orientation, gender, etc.)
• Communication skills and respecting boundaries and needs in sexual relationships
• Sexual and reproductive health, psychological and emotional aspects of sexuality
• Sexuality in media, culture, and society; sexual rights and legislation
• Practical workshop facilitation and creating educational materials for informal teaching

Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups, discuss sensitive topics in a safe environment, try out various interactive teaching methods, and receive valuable feedback from experienced instructors and fellow participants.

The workcamp will be held in the pleasant environment of the three-star Hotel Grand in Hradec Králové, providing a suitable setting for intensive education, informal networking, and relaxation.

The aim of the workcamp is to equip educators and social workers with a comprehensive set of tools, knowledge, and skills, enabling them to confidently and effectively integrate sexual education into their work with young people in informal settings. Participants will leave with not only theoretical knowledge but also practical tips and techniques they can immediately apply in their practice.
