Training Course

17-25 October 2025 | Nebrodi, Sicily, Italy

A 7-day training course (plus 2 travel days) for 27 youth workers to emphasizes mindfulness and connection with nature as fundamental elements and tools for personal and professional well-being and growth.

Main Objectives:

  • The 27 youth workers involved will acquire skills and practices in mindfulness, self-reflection, and environmental awareness.
  • The implementation of mindfulness and environmental awareness techniques will lead to a significant improvement in both the individual and professional well-being of the youth workers.
  • The youth workers will be able to promote greater awareness of well-being, environmental, and social issues among young people and within their communities.
  • Creation of Resources and Collaborative Networks: the project will generate best practices and strategies that the youth workers can use and adapt in their work contexts.

Profile of participants:

  • Youth workers within 20-40 yrs age range (according funding rules and target group of the proposal by the italian NA)
  • Be a citizen or legal resident in one of the partner countries
  • Participants with fewer opportunities are most welcomed
  • Interested in the topic and objectives of the training course, agree to the rules and terms of the project
  • Willingness to share and contribute actively to the project, results and its dissemination
  • Experience/work with youth or Erasmus+ projects
  • Good level of English

Costs

Participation fee

There is no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

All accommodation and meals will be provided by the coordinating organization. Please note that the venue is in a remote area, with the nearest shop located about 10 minutes by car.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs of the participants from their hometown to the venue and back will be reimbursed after the training course up to the following limits:

- Italy: 235€ only Green Travel 

- Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Spain: 259€  (green travel 367€)

- Turkey: 259€ (VISA cost covered till 120€)

- Portugal: 345€ (green travel 485€)

 

We will provide a bus to reach the venue and return.
