Nature Connects 2025

Nature Connects 2025 is an immersive Erasmus+ Training Course designed for youth workers who want to reconnect with themselves, others, and nature—while gaining practical tools for their daily work with young people.

The program combines personal development, intercultural exchange, and nature-based learning. Participants will first explore Vienna’s urban spaces with a focus on well-being and mental health before heading to the peaceful alpine landscapes of the Wurzeralm. Surrounded by nature, they will engage in experiential activities that encourage stepping out of the comfort zone, building international friendships, and developing a deeper understanding of how nature can foster youth empowerment.

Through hikes, mindfulness practices, team challenges, and creative workshops, participants will experience how nature can be a powerful tool for personal growth and youth work. Intercultural exchange and best practice sharing create a supportive and inspiring environment for professional development.

What to Expect

12–15 September: Vienna – urban exploration, intercultural workshops, team-building

15–19 September: Wurzeralm – nature hikes, mindfulness, outdoor team and adventure games, creative workshops, final reflection and farewell ritual
