The training course "Natural Intelligence" aims to foster resilience, adaptability and well-being of youth workers and young people through holistic development and nature-based methodologies.

A 7-day residential Erasmus+ training for 24 youth workers from Romania, Italy, Spain, Greece, Poland, Sweden & Cyprus. Dive into holistic facilitation, resilience & well-being through nature-based methodologies.

You will:
• Explore the Natural Intelligence framework (Body, Mind, Heart & Soul)
• Practice experiential learning, outdoor education, storytelling & land art
• Build ecological awareness & sustainable behaviours
• Co-create follow-up initiatives & future Erasmus+ projects

 Methodologies
Experiential Learning & Outdoor Education: Deep nature connection, ecology frameworks
Somatic & Mindfulness Practices: Body-based exercises, reflective journaling
Mentoring & Peer Coaching: Circles, deep listening & embodied guidance
Storytelling & Land Art: Myths, personal narratives & creative installations
Artistic Expression & Movement: Drawing, theater, eco-sculpture, dance & contact improvisation

 Who Can Apply?
• Youth workers, trainers, educators, NGO leaders, coaches & mentors (18+)
• Intermediate English level
• Residency in one of the partner countries

Costs

Participation fee

To support VulcanicaMente's local projects not funded, we kindly invite you to consider making a donation between 40 to 100 Euros based on your financial capacity. The donation is not compulsory,

Accommodation and food

All main expenses are fully covered by the project through the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

FOOD
Participants will receive three freshly prepared vegetarian meals per day, plus snacks and coffee breaks.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is provided for 8 nights at Villa Diana, in shared rooms or glamping tents with 3 to 5 people and shared bathrooms, surrounded by nature near Merine, South Italy. Some beds are double and might be shared according to participants agreement.

 

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs are reimbursed up to a set amount. Participants are strongly encouraged to choose green travel options (train, bus, carpooling).
Additional support
is available to cover food and accommodation for travel days, upon justification.
Travel insurance can also be reimbursed within the travel budget.
 

Your reimbursement depends on how you travel:

  • Green travel (train, bus, carpooling, boat): up to 417€ for Romania, Poland, Greece, 535€ for Sweden (if not travelling green the budget is reduced to non-green)
  • Non-green travel (flight): up to 309€ for Cyprus
  • Participants from Italy (green travel only): up to 285€

Please select reasonable and economical means of transport (e.g. student fares, low-cost airlines, second-class train tickets). Taxi costs are only reimbursed in exceptional and justified cases.

EXTRA TRAVEL SUPPORT
If you choose green travel, you may also receive up to 120€ to cover food and accommodation during your travel days (maximum 2 days before and/or after the project). Valid receipts are required for this extra reimbursement.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
