MUSIC IN ACTION is a training course promoting & exploring the benefits of using music for encouraging youth participation within the Youth in Action Programme.
Participants must be 18+. INDIVIDUALS WITH AN INTEREST & PASSION FOR WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE & MUSIC AIM: To explore and promote music as a tool for positive youth participation within the framework of Youth in Action. OBJECTIVES: - To create a sharing platform & opportunity for organisations interested/experienced in developing music-based approaches for working with young people. - To work towards understanding the benefits of using music for innovative youth participation. - To explore the opportunity for the use of music within Youth in Action through celebrating and sharing good practice and accreditation opportunities. - To improve the knowledge & understanding of music in non-formal education. - To promote & experience using music as an effective tool to explore, highlight, and challenge cultural identity.
