Training Course
28 July 2025 | online, Belgium - FR
Website: https://www.yesdgs-project.eu/
Together, we’ll explore the motivation behind YESDGs, its objectives and the key milestones of this European journey focused on active citizenship and the youth contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We will also dive into what we learned by using the hackathon methodology to address SDG-related challenges!
Specifically, we will focus on:
- A closer look at what a hackathon is and how it can empower youth
- Insights from the 1.5-day in-person hackathon implemented in Potenza, Italy, where young people and youth workers co-designed actionable solutions to real-world SDG-related challenges
- The presentation of the YESDGs Manifesto - a synthesis of key ideas and priorities that emerged during the hackathon, reflecting the voices and visions of the participants
We will also introduce the resources developed during the project - all freely available on the YESDGs platform - offering practical tools for youth workers and young people to continue exploring and applying the project’s methodologies.
Location: Zoom (https://us05web.zoom.us/j/83910948896?pwd=VK4oApb71u6cWoEYn3PGfTp6NXs6ml.1)
Time: 28 July, 16:00 CEST
Open to: Youth workers, educators, trainers and all those working toward a more inclusive, resilient and empowered youth sector - especially those interested in using the hackathon methodology in youth projects related to sustainability.
