"MOVE ON" Training course for development of good quality in EVS partnerships & projects
The training course will provide the opportunity to exchange experience of their past work with volunteers and exchange and create ideas for future co-operation in the field of voluntary service.
The main aim of the training course is to support quality in long lasting partnerships and quality in longer and complex EVS activities.
Particular objectives of the training course are:
1. to explore quality in EVS in general - with a focus on long-term EVS projects
2. to support quality in EVS projects – to realise what aspects make a good quality EVS Projects
3. to improve quality in partnerships - to strengthen the capacity of building long-term partnerships and co-operation
METHODS
The course will be based on the principles and practice of non-formal education taking into account participant’s needs, motivations and previous experiences as starting point of the programme. A diversity of working methods will be used for learning about EVS quality management: presentations, discussions in small groups, brainstorming, development of new ideas, plenary debates, simulations, project visit etc.
NUMBER AND PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS
We expect up to 24 participants, representatives from Sending, Hosting or Co-ordinating organisations from Programme and South East Region’s countries. Participants should be actively involved in the work of their organisations and be in charge of the EVS project in their organisation as project coordinator or assistant.
They should be motivated to establish partnerships with other organizations and be ready to develop new EVS projects.
In particular, participants should:
be over 18 years old
be able to communicate in English
have at least 3 years experience in working with volunteers and organizing international projects
be willing to strengthening their project management competences
be well acquainted with the goals of their own organization and be prepared to present its work to the other participants of the training course
be highly motivated to actively participate in the whole course and to contribute to the development of the programme and the group dynamic of the participants.

Romanian NA covers the costs for food, accommodation, working rooms and facilitators. The sending NA's might be able to cover the travel costs of their participants.
