"MOJU YOU(th)NIVERSITY" is a space for debate, networking, training and exchange of experiences of youth workers and leaders. 50 people from 25 different countries will gather in 2 simultaneous training courses in Portugal from 16-21 March 2015.
"MOJU YOU(th)NIVERSITY" is a space for debate, networking, training and exchange of experiences of youth workers and leaders. 6 days Training Course, 50 people from 25 different countries, including Programme Countries, South East Europe, Eastern Europe and Caucasus and Mediterrean Partner Countries, will gather in 2 simultaneous training courses in Olhão, Portugal from 16th to 21st March 2015. “YesWeFacilitate!” - Training for facilitators on youth events for young people with fewer opportunities “YesWeOrganize!" - Training on project cycle management of inclusive youth exchanges under the E+ Programme. The main aim of these training courses is to develop participants' competences to work and to act within intercultural environment, specifically on themes like facilitation and project cycle management (PCM) through non formal education. It has also as objective to provide quality trainings for the participants in certain areas of the youth work. Thus, to reach better quality of activities for young people with fewer opportunities organized under the new EU Programme 2014-2020 Erasmus+.

MOJU - Associação Movimento Juvenil em Olhão (Youth NGO)

The Association – Movimento Juvenil em Olhão uses the abbreviation MOJU. It was founded on the 16th October, 2007 in Olhão, Portugal.

MOJU is a youth association that works at local level, is non-profit making, and independent of all political, syndicalism or religious affiliation.

The aims of the Association are:

- Encourage active youth participation in society, directly or indirectly;
- Develop activities (inter) cultural, educational, social, sportive, recreational and environmental aimed at overall development of young people in Olhão’s municipality;
- Promote discussion and dissemination of information about the needs and aspirations of Olhão’s municipality youth, to contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate local policies;
- To collaborate with public and private, national and international entities, aiming the development and implementation of the objectives described above.

MOJU aims to contribute to the development of a space where young people can express their opinions and participate in decision processes, in an active and sustainable way. We believe that youth involvement in the development of active participation in society is essential to increase the feeling of belonging and to promote a better quality of life of youngsters in their communities.

MOJU is composed of a group of people who believe in the importance of youth participation in building society and these four years were marked by strong growth of the Association, now a youth mark of our city. Nowadays we have over 300 members (people over 14 years) and many partnerships with public and private entities at local and regional level.

Costs

MOJU will cover 100% of travel costs (cheapest way) from the resident country up to the limit costs per participating country listed in attached PDF document. 100% of the visa costs will be reimbursed. The food and lodging cost will be covered by MOJU. For EU countries participation fee will be 50 EUR and for non-EU countries 30 EUR in order to support the overall budget of the project.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
