Training Course
8-16 September 2026 | Předklášteří , Czech Republic
Mindful Youth Work Mosaic is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed for youth workers, mentors, educators, and practitioners from eight European countries who want to explore how mindfulness, body-focused practices, outdoor learning, and experiential education can strengthen personal well-being and improve the quality of youth work.
The project addresses current challenges faced by youth workers, including stress, emotional exhaustion, and burnout, by providing practical tools for self-care, resilience, emotional balance, and sustainable approaches to working with young people.
Through the unique Outdoor Mosaic process, participants will explore, adapt, and create youth work methods that combine mindfulness, conscious movement, reflection, and outdoor experiential learning. The training will encourage participants to learn by doing, exchange good practices, test activities in an international environment, and reflect on how these approaches can be transferred to their local youth work contexts.
The programme combines non-formal education methods, peer learning, outdoor activities, group reflection, body-focused practices, and creative cooperation. Participants will not only gain new personal tools for their own well-being but will also develop innovative approaches that can support young people in their communities.
As a result of the project, participants will co-create the Mosaic Guide – a practical resource collecting adapted methods and activities that can be used by youth workers across Europe. The project aims to create long-term impact by strengthening cooperation among partner organisations, encouraging further use of developed tools, and promoting more mindful, resilient, and sustainable youth work practices.
Main objectives:
Strengthen youth workers’ well-being and resilience by equipping participants with practical mindfulness, body-focused, and self-care tools to prevent burnout and support emotional balance.
Innovate youth work practices by adapting methods for outdoor settings and integrating mindfulness, conscious movement, and experiential learning approaches.
Encourage international cooperation and long-term impact through knowledge exchange, dissemination activities, follow-up actions, and the continued use of developed methods in local youth work.
