Mindful Youth: Building Resilience Together

Training Course

28 September - 6 October 2026 | Tleń, Poland

Mindful Youth - Building Resilience Together is a training course for youth workers focused on mindfulness, resilience and mental well-being, providing practical non-formal education tools to support young people in managing stress and emotions.

Mindful Youth – Building Resilience Together is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed for youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, educators, facilitators and other professionals actively involved in non-formal learning and youth work.

The training focuses on strengthening young people’s resilience, emotional well-being and ability to cope with stress and everyday challenges. It responds to the growing need for practical approaches that youth workers can integrate into their regular work with young people, particularly when supporting those experiencing stress, emotional difficulties, social pressure or challenging life situations.

Throughout the training, participants will explore mindfulness, emotional regulation, stress management, self-awareness and resilience-building through experiential and non-formal education methods. The programme will combine practical exercises, group work, reflection, discussions, creative activities, mindfulness practices and peer learning. Participants will have opportunities both to experience the methods themselves and to reflect on how they can adapt and apply them with young people in their own organisations and communities.

The activity is particularly targeted at applicants who are currently active in youth work and/or non-formal education and who are interested in incorporating well-being and resilience-building approaches into their professional or voluntary practice. Previous expertise in mindfulness is not required, but participants should be motivated to actively engage in the programme, exchange experiences with an international group and transfer the acquired methods into their local youth work.

By the end of the training, participants are expected to have a broader understanding of resilience and well-being in youth work, an increased awareness of their own well-being as youth workers, and a set of practical, adaptable tools and methods that can be used in non-formal learning settings with young people.
