Meeting of National Working Groups of the EU Youth Dialogue

Conference – Symposium - Forum

6-8 February 2019 | Vienna, Austria

Main aim of the activity is to explore the potential of the new EU Youth Dialogue, share practices and approaches of the work of the National Working Groups and create links between the EU Youth Dialogue and Key Action 3 projects.

The meeting is organized together with the European Commission, the European Youth Forum as well as the Austrian National Youth Council. It will tackle the potential of the new EU Youth Dialogue as part of the EU Youth Strategy 2019 -2027, as well as the relevant links to Key Action 3.

The idea is to bring together coordinators and members of National Working groups (NGW), representatives of the National Agencies and other stakeholders to work towards a common understanding and shared ownership of the EU Youth Dialogue, share practices, explore opportunities and areas of cooperation in the new EU Youth Dialogue.

2-3 members coming from different backgrounds of each National Working group are invited to join (e.g. Youth Councils, administration representatives, other members of NWGs) as well as KA3 officers from National Agencies.

Objectives:

-) Information about the flow of the EU Youth Dialogue and the next cycle;

-) Working towards a common understanding and shared ownership of the EU Youth Dialogue;

-) Explore the links and the potential impact of the EU Youth Dialogue on local, regional and European level

-) Explore how to make use of resources (Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps) for implementation of the EU Youth Dialogue;

-) Inspire, motivate and improve knowledge on how to reach out to young people

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.


 

Accommodation and food

The hosting National Agency of this Activity will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Your sending National Agency will support your travel costs. After being selected, please contact your NA to learn more about how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

If your NA is not able to support your participation please contact the organizing NA.
